Hi,
I actually will have my fussy cut blocks (I made two) finished by this afternoon but I don’t know where to send them. I missed the start of the group and I think I missed out on some information. I think these first ones go to you, although I’m not sure but if you could tell me who and where to send them, I’ll be grateful. I realized after I just got the directions for the April block that I’m next for May. It seemed such a long time ago when this all started. I keep changing my mind about my block but I even though I’ve never done a star I found great directions from Elizabeth Harman for a Sawtooth Star Block so I think I’m going to go with that because everyone should know how to do that and people can get a little wonki if they want to or use more material or just the three that are required. What do you think? I freaked out lask week because my sewing machine wasn’t working but it seems find now. It must have been freaking out because I actually turned it on. It feels great to be doing this. Although I’m not actually in the doll quilt swap, one of the administrators offered to do a one to one swap with me so I could learn how to do it which was so nice I couldn’t believe it, but there are so many amazing people Ive already “met” that I’m so excited to become a part of this community. I know I’m not writing to you in the right place but I was looking at your blog (which is a really nice one, the perfect amount of writing and photos) so I thought I’d just write here. If I don’t here from you I’ll send you a note by flickr mail. My blog says too much and doesn’t have enough photos yet but I’m learning. I never had a blog before either and it seemed to be a necessary accompanyment to being part of a group or swap. Thanks so much for letting me join this group. It means a lot to me. I didn’t feel like I knew people in the group so I’m trying to read a few blogs every day and write some comments so I get to know people in the group. Our group is a bunch of friendly, warm people. Thanks again for letting me be a part of this.
